The ADC242 Smart Aerial works in conjunction with the Smart Pro. Features and functionality of the aerial include:

• Transponder Identification across all transponder family groups, covering bladed keys and proximity keys.
• Transponder production of multiple transponder IDs onto Silca specified target transponders.
• Reading PIN Codes from programmed Hyundai® keys equipped with ID60 80 bit (6E-60) transponders.
• The ability to write Component Security (CS)* for applicable vehicles; Fiat®, Renault® & VW®.

*Component Security (CS) relates to an added layer of security found on select Fiat, Renault & VW. The CS data is vehicle specific.

In the context of key programming, genuine OEM keys for vehicles using CS have the CS data loaded from the factory. Where the locksmith chooses to use aftermarket keys these must be programmed with the vehicle specific CS.
